Applying to foreign universities is time-consuming and can be overwhelming. I will help you and your child every step of the way, from first considering the option of a U.K. or U.S. university, to application and admission.
Phase I: Self-awareness and goal-setting
This is where we get to know each other. Your child and I will review his or her school record, goals, hobbies and interests. I will explain my services in more detail, and design a personalized action plan for your child which will include tasks like testing, personal development activities, summer activities and application requirements. Your child will gain a clearer understanding of his or her unique strengths and educational goals, and I will get a picture of how I can best help him or her to succeed.
Phase II: Creating a shortlist
Together we’ll build the profile of your child’s dream university, taking into consideration a variety of factors including location, size, academics, the social scene, extra-curricular activities and scholarship opportunities. I am an expert at finding the best possible academic, social, and financial match for each student/family. Together we will finalize a list of up to 10 universities to target.
Phase III: The application process
The road to a successful application includes planning campus visits, making the most of the application questions, essay/personal statement brainstorming, Early Decision strategizing, requesting letters of recommendation from teachers and school authorities, drafting a cv, submitting the application, preparing for interviews and following up with staff at target universities.
